A New Name for High-Fructose Corn Syrup - NYTimes.com
well.blogs.nytimes.com
Corn refiners are asking the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to change the name of high-fructose corn syrup, using the term "corn sugar" instead, in hopes of clearing up consumer confusion about the product.
NOW do you believe me that it's more important to deceive the public than to not continue profiting by selling toxic substances as foods? If you didn't know, High-Fructose Corn Syrup is extremely nasty, yet it's used in any brand-packaged sweet thing including pop. Save your DNA & Stop using HFCS!
“I’m not eager to help the corn refiners sell more of their stuff,” Dr. Nestle wrote in an e-mail. “But you have to feel sorry for them. High-fructose corn syrup is the new trans fat. Everyone thinks it’s poison, and food companies are gett...ing rid of it as fast as they can.”
Everybody THINKS it's poison? Everybody KNOWS! Changing its name will only fool those who want to be poisoned, those who still eat trans fats in spite of all the awareness about fats that kill. HFCS is a sugar that kills!
There are alternatives to addictive drugs like HFCS, Aspartame (which has changed its name a few times too!) and Hydrogenated vegetable oil and propylene glycol and soy and canola oils.
Here are some ideas for ways to protect yourself from mass-marketed killers:
Don't buy boxes of foods unless you can pronounce and picture every ingredient!
don't buy salad dressing in the store unless you can lay eyes upon the person who made it!
Stop buying canola oil ... just, look into it if you must, but stop it. for the sake of the future generations. the healthier oils are worth any extra expense.
COOK ONLY WITH COCONUT OIL OR BUTTER. do not heat olive oil or sunflower oil or hemp oil
Only use soy beans if they are sprouted (eat just the sprout not the bean) and/or fermented (ie tofu, miso). that means avoid all soy unless it has been rendered digestible. ALL other forms are completely impossible to digest. all beans and grains should be soaked/sprouted even if you're going to cook them. in fact, corn is quite difficult to assimilate by most people who are not of aboriginal descent.
if you must have pop buy the kinds made with ONLY either cane sugar (organic natural cane sugar brands include Reed's, Real Brew, Virgil's - i used to work in a grocery store so i know there are even more brands) OR apple juice and grape juice as sweeteners.
Stevia is another safe option, as is coconut sugar, but good luck finding mass marketing for products with such a low profit margin.
if you want to know more you need to research and empower yourself so that you can keep your genetic material safe and feel good today
Look forward to our book "Conscious Evolution: Choices for Co-Creating an Empowered Legacy" for information like this and beyond! Let's go down the rabbit hole, folks!

Why I Love Good TV & Movies
there's something about Buffy the Vampire Slayer that speaks to the primal defender within me. the show, if you haven't seen it, is one of my top five best-ever faves of all time, of any dvd i would recommend. there are seven seasons and it just gets better. it satisfies the archetypal warrior hero story line while inspiring every person to find their inner super hero. Joss Whedon is, after all, a female empowerment advocate, as well as a creative genius.
while watching the season premiere of Buffy 7 today, simultaneously cuddling my 10-year-old furry purring beast Ruby, I had a realization about why i love the experience of watching television (or dvds in most cases). it feels like when you're in heaven and you can review any lifetime you desire to review, and build more (vicariously yet not) on your own lifetimes of lessons. we get to share in experiences that empower, encourage and teach us all, because when it really comes down to it we are all here doing those things precisely. our salvation happens when we realize our role in a real-life archetypal battle for the power of our minds and the deeds of our bodies.
the need for the hero archetype has never been more prevalent than it has in the past fifty years, once our souls struck through to our minds just how much we need to be rescued from technocracy, from drugs and science and degeneration. to me, the symbolism of a blood-sucking demon is about as good as it gets. Bram Stoker might have been talking about the blood-sucking English, but i liken the metaphor to the illuminati, who are represented in our daily lives as energy vampires, those too weak to know any better because they have been repeated pawns in a larger plan for downregulation of human genetic code, and of course they are walking programmed robots for illuminati mind-controlling interests. this is all made possible by good ol' corporate greed and handy dandy marketing propaganda a plenty.
Buffy busts out the molds for heroism. she reminds me of what is possible if we allow ourselves to believe in magic; to not stand by and watch another apocalypse take out those we love. But beyond Buffy and heroic symbolism, well-made tv shows and movies speak to all of the the archetypes and unite us in empathic resonance. I don't enjoy television programming that propagates mimetic falsities (such as many talk shows, reality tv and "the news", just to name a few), but i can appreciate a great piece of art as well as anyone. That which makes me laugh and cry and see past anybody's differences to know we are all the same, now that is good tv.

Call of the Wild Woman
The above quote came to me in a dream last night.
I know doesn't make sense sometimes that i consider myself wild, since i'm home 90% of the time and I don't get drunk and 'show my tits' or spend any time in the forest at all (though i would like to, if we had one - we will be building a small fruit tree forest in our back yard over the course of the next few years, however). My wildness comes with my determination set years ago for full authenticity. i set out to know who I AM, to realize what was my purpose in life, to know myself thoroughly so that i would not waste a single moment giving energy to things that were not part of my path. it has been surprising, therefore, to find what IS part of my path, which is what life is like: you may be co-creating your reality but you will get surprises nonetheless!
My idea of a wild woman is the woman who loves her role as a domestic goddess only to the point where she is FREE to reign as Queen of Creation. ALL aspects of nurturing are creative. ALL aspects of energy clearing are creative. the Wild woman's role is to be present in the moment and respond as Spirit directs. NOT answering to any man, woman or child. Not being irreverent, either. Just wild.
I DO WHAT I WANT is a pretty common motto of a wild woman. but a Self-realized wild woman says so with humility and gratitude, and what she usually does want to do is to nurture, within the realm of boundless creativity. In the case of nursing a baby, I did take orders from my son and did so with ecstatic joy of purpose-fulfilling resolve and surrender.
Most of us are taught to know what we want, ask for it, get it and then complain. Not the wild woman - she has cultivated an attitude of innocent perception, of childlike faith in simplicity. all things are God. All things are gift from the Goddess. We are excited to discover sometimes that the way we thought our prayers would be answered is not at all how they are being answered - its going to be way better, beyond imagination!
I truly believe in imagination. I imagined in my dream last night how I might be remembered, as an Empowered Woman. I knew which qualities i wanted to exemplify and inspire in others. I AM all about the Spiritual Midwifery. There is nothing more ecstatically fulfilling to me than to be able to offer support to someone who is processing something out, or trying to process something within.
I must make a recommendation for my readers who've enjoyed this rant even just a little. I bow down to my personal hero on this subject (and many others), my Sister Goddess, Anastasia, who lives in the Siberian Taiga forest in Russia, raising her children in the wild. Her book series is called The Ringing Cedars of Russia and she expounds on philosophy of co-creation, grounding / connecting with Earth, gardening, bee-keeping, parenting, childrens' education, communing as Family. There is great value in what she teaches, and our book will contain several quotes by her i am sure. http://www.ringingcedars.com/
On that note, i am pleased to announce that Kelt and I not only got married nearly three weeks ago, but that we have finally settled on a book title, "Conscious Evolution: Choices for Co-Creating an Empowered Legacy".

let's talk about sex, babies.
The following is what i wrote. it's late and i'm no perfectionist today. enjoy. :P
i knew what sex was when i was 3 because i asked and my mom told me the truth. so my barbies did it with Ken, and i promised not to talk about sex with other kids.
We have always been free of shame w/ re sex and Artan... he has been interested since he was about just turning 4. he called me "Sexy" a lot earlier than that, though, because my man calls me that all the time. Sex, we believe, should be celebrated.
Artan gets boners a lot and he is sure into talking about it. my mom thinks i shouldn't talk about it, that i should worry he'll say things to other kids and i'll get in trouble. i'm not too worried about it at all or anything else for that matter. he asked his little girlfriend if she has a vagina and she said no what's that? he did not know that most kids don't get full-on anatomy lessons at 3 years old, and i told him that she probably calls it her 'pee pee' or something. when i was a kid the other kids called it a 'peach' or 'petunia' or anything but the real word. i think that's ridiculous. our provincial capital is Regina but it's not pronounced like you'd think, it actually rhymes with vagina. and my son hysterically laughingly pointed that out at 3 years old too. he has an incredible sense of humor !
i think for me i was caught between knowing what it was and perceiving all this shame and guilt associated with sex from such a young age... i was 'saving myself for marriage' on one hand and extremely horny and curious and enamored by the mystery of sex, that my issues with sex stemmed from having participated in the pattern i was taught. I was not able to talk to my parents about sex when i was having it as a teenager, and i know for sure that if they had not placed so much shame on it i could have been more open with them, since i was in love and very serious about marriage and of course i was careful. even when i shacked up with the man who became my first husband, my parents would not stay in our home, but would stay in a hotel instead, when they came to Calgary to visit. i would not have married him if that were not the climate in relation to premarital sex being unholy. but woulda, shoulda, and coulda can teach us some pretty profound lessons.
what sexual climate do we set for our children when we ignore a vital part of our humanity in their presence? what does it teach them if they never see mom and dad madly embracing? as you know, the hormones associated with sex and birth and breastfeeding (particularly oxytocin) are the same experience emotionally when you really get down to what this is about: intimacy. parents who enjoy each other, possibly who nursed-while-humping, would not be interested in hiding from their children the miraculous and pragmatic glorious legend of the sex.
i hope that helps... thanks for letting me ramble...
buenos noches

I'll Get to Doing That... but first can i bake you a cake?
I have already had two showers today and I stink again (such is life during a parasite cleanse!) Never mind the heat out there - it's 30 degrees celcius today!
So much is in flux right now, so much out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new energetic processing, not like in times past where it was utter upheaval, but it's intense because we are approaching it like 'from the inside', from within our thought patterns. I'm ahead of myself with that; plenty has been stirred up. Removal is another thing entirely. Getting rid of all that i know i do not want is the theme of this week for me. Moving forward with all i want, all i have awaiting me. I am at the transition of the birth that is the newest me, the most pure and holy Marna.
Deservance / worthiness is probably the biggest blocking pattern in my history. I was not always convinced that i deserved to have what i wanted. I have been just a little bit stuck in an ancestral pattern, which played out for a time in my life, when patterns of guilt and non-acceptance of self were highly ingrained within my defense system. I thought i needed to be protected from everything out there, but what i really needed protection from was what was going on in here. eternally.
i'm a Cancer cusping Leo, so I'm really feeling this rhythm now. I don't beat myself up anymore for not doing my dishes every day, or for not picking up all the toys and clothing my son can set records for leaving laying around. I don't need to worry about what people think, and I care most about peace and flow, so sometimes a little mess can be a good thing. When people stand to get hurt, things get picked up! When I know i NEED things to be neat and tidy then I do the tidying. I don't care anymore, unto my own aesthetic needs, because i would not have something in my home that i did not love, and therefore, i look at it like, I'm surrounded by things i love, and they're beautiful, and there are usually stories, and it's okay if you don't appreciate it because i do. my cave is my Space of Love. It's what you CAN't see that makes it all the more powerful.
In simple humility, i have the love of a wee abode not pretending to bow to materialism. i am the richest, most abundant eccentric wise woman anybody knows, whether they know or not, i don't care. My lifestyle is filled with joy, and I don't ever have to worry, I don't ever have to stress. I can relax when i need to, and ride the waves of the worker bee when i have them. In this heat, i will enjoy what aspects work for me - water! - and fresh fruit!

Baby-Wearing Suits Everybody, Especially Babies
Why Every Parent Should Wear Their Babies
I'll admit it's a passion of mine, but it's also a primal instinct for humans - primitive as well as modern, civilized humans - to wear their young. The benefits are astounding, and I speak from personal experience. To list just a few of the 'official' perks of baby-wearing, you get calmer babies who cry much less and are less prone to colic or gas; they are better socialized because they are eye-to-eye with society and therefore also have better language development because they are better able to hear and see adults; and of course, parents get to bond with and know their child so well the child's needs are met instantly and less stress is experienced by everyone.
My Personal Experience
I did not find it as easy to do in the early months, but at 8 weeks my son and i found our groove. Because my arms got so tired from holding him while standing up, I insisted on mastering the wearing of him in a sling that was given to me. Artan nursed every hour for the first year, so i loved having the option to just nurse him while i did whatever it was i was doing - so not feeling interrupted, I was a happier mommy; not having to wait for boob, he was a happier baby. We used a sling for at least two and a half years, but used it less frequently as he was getting older, when he wanted to walk instead. I never once took my son's car seat out of the car - with the exception of the first and only time, which was just ridiculously cumbersome for me but i tried it because he was sleeping when we got to a restaurant. After that I just picked him up, sleeping or not, and put him into the sling, where he continued to sleep anyway. I also didn't need to keep a baby swing / electric or bouncy rocker in my space either. I never felt like it was cramping my style because my style is that of the busy hands, busy feet, eye-to-eye, heart-to-heart, relationship-oriented loving living type.
What Kind of Sling Works Best
I loved my padded ring sling for the first year because they have great control, are comfortable for the early months when nursing comfort is absolutely critical - especially with outings. If you find these awkward at first, there is a hump you have to get over and then these work blissfully - especially for constant-nursers!
For older babies, however, the one-piece / native / baby star/ band-style is my preference. These are great if you just need support with shorter wearings and want to have a tidier sling in tow (ie they fit better in your purse).
The really-long-piece of fabric style, which can wrap any which way, is great for going to a wedding; a really gorgeous wrap (i have made custom wraps for custom outfits) is especially handy for extra privacy in crowds where my child is not supposed to be the center of attention! ;)
They Usually Fall Asleep But They Could Also Be Super Heroes
If I could, I would coach every mother in my community for free on how to achieve easier baby-wearing. I will endeavor to use my feral goddess youtube page to post a few tutorials and demonstrations. Why is it important - aside from the fact that all babies tend to fall asleep in the sling - to wear your baby? Because it's imperative for humans to remain primal, to continue nurturing the mammalian brain and not neglecting deeply critical emotional energy within the limbic system, so that we can instead embrace yet another excellent opportunity to heal the evolving human race from the attempted denigration of the family bond by plastic corporate greed. We can recover our society from the surrogate comforts, which always lead to maladjusted personalities, neuroses, health problems, etc. Instead we can inspire authenticity in the people we co-create. They can be emotionally secure and therefore have none of the hang-ups we've 'discovered' in the most recent generations.
"...Modern science (as a front for greedy energy-control corporations financed by Illuminati banking interests) still has nearly everyone fooled." (David Wolfe / Nick Good, Amazing Grace 2008)
We can create super-heroes out of our children by meeting their physical and emotional needs in those early years especially. Do the research - children who are not breast-fed are much more likely to become criminals, for example. So how much greater can we make babies, if we not only meet their nutritional needs but also their higher-brain functioning (such as socialization, as i mentioned in the first section), simply by wearing them on our bodies?
Well, I have to admit, I am living with a 4-year-old super hero now and I am in humble gratitude that my instincts led me to this time-honored, primal practice. Baby-wearing - JUST DO IT!

to worry is the devil
what to do with the mama bear instinct energy? it's unfortunately a modern motherly response to want to "fix" the situation in a masculine sense, but all we tend to do with that primal energy is to worry, which is not beneficial. So... instead of worrying in the classic sense, you can use your 'concerns' to remind you to creatively ask to receive intuitive guidance as to that which would shift the pattern into something your family members can use to their mutual advantage. If you find yourself worrying (by recognizing 'bad' feelings during thoughts), press 'delete' in your head and ask a how or why question from which you accept responsibility in the answer, for example, how can i turn his day around? if you wait for an answer, simply by knowing you have an audience (all that is, I AM, God, what-have-you), trust that you'll get an answer. And the brilliant Universal Mother within you actually answers. I've seen this happen time & time again.
I don't have issues with worrying as much as i have programs running that are negative 'curses' such as, "if you keep playing on the street you're bound to get hit by a car" or anything - it could be anything psychological too - it's often that i catch myself repeating exactly what my mother and grandparents would say (and i am sure, their grandparents before them and so on) This is how things in this world get out of control. We are capable of creating a different paradigm of parenting if we end the patterns - such as worrying, nagging, etc - by choosing to replace them with positive ones that eventually encourage our children to express who they really are - which is absolutely magical. Long-held patterns tend to stifle evolution. The only thing that is constant is change!
It is my prayer that my long-blabbering rants inspire parents to partake in conscious evolution so that worry, fear, doubt, and all negativity may become extinct.

Six Years of Good Home Lovin'
In honor of my SIX YEAR Anniversary of the day I moved in with Kelt to be his wife, I must resurrect this little ditty of devotional praise for my man:
Kelt is the yang to my yin in every way; we are twin souls, destined to procreatively bless the Mother with sweetness, rejoicing again and thanking the Father for the opportunity to love eternally.
I never knew a man could be so perfectly masculine and wonderfully feminine, and i never knew anyone could care so much! Kelt cares too much, but this is the greatest of his faults.
i love how he takes care of me, how i take care of him, how we can both perfectly well take care of ourselves but we GET to take care of eachother.
i love that he always expects the best of people, and that he wants to help to bring out the best in people. the first moment i met him i knew that about him, and it made me want to live my best life.
Kelt is a truly powerful healer, and he is not arrogant or self-righteous or even pretentious about it. it simply is one of his many gifts, one he has particular interest in because it matches his caring nature.
Kelt gets really pissed off at the same things i get pissed off at - mostly with regard to people who choose to continue creating hell for themselves - but i really do love the way he expresses his anger. he always talks about wanting to picket naked, and i think that's so adorable. he cares enough to want to make a difference. and so he does.
kelt is easily the most brilliant person i know.
kelt is the best daddy i could have imagined for my children, and he is fully supportive of my intense bond with Artan. he knows that we have to make up for lost time and heal wounds of separation from other times. he knows that we are all here together now to love and that's all that's required of us.
i've learned from Kelt so many things, and i continue daily to do so. we learn from each other and with each other, and every lesson is just a deeper understanding of the greater picture; just another aspect of love.
i just had to write this to express how much i respect and admire my husband for all his charm and character, sensitivity and sexiness, depth and dimension, wit and wisom, manliness and madness, talent and tenacity.
Everybody should just be nice. Go Flames Go. You just gotta giv'er.
Is Your Home a Sanctuary?
I have ranted many times about chemical stinks and that includes all perfumes that are not made from 100% ESSENTIAL OILS and nothing else. Most people don't know that their perfumes are full of formaldehyde, mold and yeast, let alone all the artificial chemicals used for manufacturing scent for cheap. They also don't know that this is a major cause of respiratory issues (such as asthma, allergies and worse), migraine headaches, lethargy, poor concentration, autoimmune-related illness, yeast infestations, infertility, and the list goes on. Don't even make me explain to you, dear readers, WHY so few people are aware of this connection. If you've gotten this far - to reading my humble offerings - then you know perfectly well that "it's all about the money" and peoples' health is not as important as corporate greed.
Unfortunately, too, corporations are allowed to lie all they want because of lobbyists and advertising dollars - again, truth is not important, only profits. It is the duty of the Aware Humans of Integrity to disengage from the use of chemical perfumes, not just for their own sake but for the sake of children, pets, and plants. Being environmentally responsible brings this issue to the forefront. If your home has Gl*de Pl*g-Ins, or Air-W*ck or L*sol, or any other version of home scenting that is mass-produced (privately or publicly) and is not made from 100% pure EDIBLE ingredients, then your home is poisonous to all who go there. It's not a matter of opinion. It's not a matter of taste. It is an extremely critical matter of home health! The ONLY safe ways to deodorize a home is- aside from certain plants such as Snake plants (aka Mother-in-Law's Tongue) - Air Purification from Negative-Ionizing machines (ie. Oreck), or by cold-air diffusion of food-grade essential oils (which also has a negative charge). My home has all three of these and absolutely zero chemicals. I don't even buy new furniture or toys because they off-gas and cause the types of symptoms I described in the first paragraph.
ALL toxic material in existence - including negative thought-forms - have a positive ionic charge. The ONLY way to reduce the toxic burden of pretty much everything man-made out there (again, mass-produced products of all kinds that are not made with the greatest good in mind) is to uptake as many negative ions as possible.
How do we get negative ions, aside from increasing air quality? Well, before I tell you, I'm going to emphasize Air Quality again, because of how important it is! Think of how many hours are spent breathing the air in your home. We consume hundreds of times the amount of air (in cubic gallons) than we do, say, water or food. People in my circles place quite an importance on the quality of food and water they consume, but are they keeping their air clean?
No home is a sanctuary unless it is a space of love, of providing safety on all levels, providing comfort on all levels - a soft place to fall, a warm bed in which to sleep, good food to eat, and, yes, clean air to breathe.
Okay, so I've made my point. Here are some tips on increasing your uptake of negative ions (a key to health empowerment, stress-prevention, and ultimately, clarity on all levels): You could go stand outside during a rainshower, or under a waterfall, or near a river, ... or you could increase the foods you know are highly beneficial (raw greens, primarily, as well as most fruits & vegetables in general), and you can take advantage of benevolent technologies such as energy machines from high-integrity companies like HTE, suppliers of the original CHI Machine, the Far-Infrared (FIR) Dome or "Hot House", and the Electro-Reflex Energizer; FIR technology can be found in quite a few forms and all give the body energy in the form of negative ions. NOTE: You can't get too many negative ions and any adverse reactions are due to instant detoxification / parasite die-off. We have a machine called the Aqua-Chi, and it's the only footbath detoxing machine I know of that does NOT alternative the negative ions with positive. I don't see why any should, but when we were making our decision four years ago on purchasing such a machine, the inventors of this particular model of ionic cleansing machines had the most extensive research on this technology. I will write more about this amazing beneficial technology another time.
So today I've decided to get involved in municipal politics, at least a little, to move forward with precedent regarding perfume-free environment laws in Weyburn, the town in which I permanently reside. Halifax, NS, has been publicly perfume-free for a number of years, and Weyburn already has a few facilities (ie. the Public Library, nursing homes and churches) that do not allow perfumes on the premises. I must protect babies - and Mother Gaia - from poison in the ways I know how! Speaking UP is my specialty, don'tcha know?

Then & Now
When I first launched this blog, I was using it as a place to plunk my newsletters - which are, by their very definition, obsolete, retro, and hearken much too closely to the polished and perfected way they taught us to write 'journalistic' in writing school. I did actually get a Certificate in Professional Writing in 1998 from Mount Royal College and after a year of studying writing, I knew I still wanted to be a writer, but I really profoundly realized at the end of it all that I had a ways to go before I would know what it was I wanted to say.
So, I wrote songs for more than a decade. Spiritual, lyrical poetry, if you really want to get technical. Oh, and i did do some technical writing but those were dark times :) I kept it old-school, just using internet to write e-mails like they were letters to my pen-pals (of which i had many in high school, literally) or notes passed in jr high math class (ah-hem).
My intention with this relatively new form of expression is to commit to my relentless need for self-expression while remaining true to my calling as a Priestess of Truth; I won't mince words and I won't stray from my hard-care, radical perspective on empowered living.
I might not encourage people to do the things I don't do (for example, go to doctors, eat meat, use chemicals, etc) and I say some pretty extreme things some times, but I will always love the people with whom I come into contact - in real life and in this virtual reality - with unconditional acceptance.
Not everybody can handle unconditional acceptance - giving or receiving.
They say the way you do anything is the way you do anything. I resonate with this statement. Of course, I quite like extreme, radical statements. If you want to make change, I figure you should just change it all up at once. I know no other way. So, finding balance has been kind of a cosmic joke - my soul's urge to be radical fights my body's desires to repeat patterns. So, back & forth I have swung like a pendulum.
Being pendulous has had its moments. I thought that I was wasting time all those years, when I was simply growing into the person I am today. I really like who i am, and I would not have done anything differently. I spent my first marriage in conflict within, believing i had two natures (a sin nature and a holy longing) and it created a lot of conflict within that relationship. I asked God to reveal Self to me so many times, I was not surprised when I found what I was looking for within. But growth is painful, and it does not stop being so until a certain point. When you learn to nurture growth via intuition, connectedness, primal wisdom, and, above all else, creativity, you find new levels of power that just do not include the paradigm of pain and suffering. You can let go of a lot of old programs and find your voice.
My voice is found now - since the inception of Feral Goddess in 2008 upon a realization I promise to share another time - and I am not going to shut up.
Tomorrow I'm doing a four-hour trade show for local crafty business people. Last time I just gave away chocolate and newsletters, promoted my cleaning services, and ended up buying a bunch of things from the other vendors. However, this time, I am selling tie-dyed baby clothes and a few things for teens - all original creations from mostly clearanced or reclaimed clothing. I don't sew - yet.
Lose the Fat Head
Let's start with my issues as of the past year. Everything has been wonderful when it comes to having our own home with a big yard plus a huge garden, living again in my home town, and having our son grow up with three generations of parents.
My issues, I believe, have stemmed from yet another personal visitation to the patterns held within the energy fields hereabouts where we live in Weyburn, SK. What makes the patterns all the more of a challenge for me to overcome is that most of my ancestors also lived in this area.
Now, I must iterate that I am ALL Nurture when it comes down to being vs Nature. I KNOW that it is our environment moreso than our genetic inheritances that cause illness, for example, as well as more subtle patterns of (okay I will come right out with it): self-abusive over-eating.
Of course over-eating is an illness. And, like every other illness, the cure is in the mind. I have had my moments, and usually only for a few months and then I come out of it (as has happened in the past few months of not over-eating). What has been the pattern, however - to recognize from the end what the actual abusive pattern is - is that I would then beat myself up for having let myself gain fat.
My beautiful, curvaceous goddess body has an amazing ability to store fat. I am highly muscular, my bones are dense, I am the most fit overfat person you know! But now after all those years of self-punishment, I have realized that MY BODY IS A GENIUS.
Think about it: what is stored in fat? Why do we have it to begin with? In this current overfat society, I'd say pretty much everybody stores mega-toxicity in their fat. This is verifiable by all sorts of science, but let's focus on what I've been taught via intuition.
If my body did not do the most primal, safe and sound thing for its own protection - such as store toxicity (from junk food, environmental inhalants, etc) in adipose tissue (fat tissue) - then what could be happening as the alternative?
Well, just to rattle off a few alternatives to proper fat storage: parasitic (ie Candida) domination of any and all organs having genetic predispositions to weakness; cancer; infertility; fatigue; sudden death via some "random" infarction.
I don't like to get too carried away with alternate realities. I am SO happy and grateful for my life exactly as it is. I never realized just how perfect my body was until i realized that I actually still have ribs showing no matter how much fat i gain (and I have certainly been about as big as my extended family would like me to be!) THIS must mean that my body stores fat in safe places. NOT in my upper abdomen, around the ribs, around the organs or anywhere the experts would say is unsafe. Yay!
So, in spite of my apparent misuse of food in the past, I can only revel in the efficient and protective nature of my own body. My mind is efficient, my mind is protective, so why shouldn't my body be?
I've been reading Dr David R Hawkins book "Healing & Recovery" and it has solidified for me the intuitions i've been getting all along about perception of reality being the key critical factor in our ability to alter reality. This is applied to all health issues and is revolutionary for any person who chooses to read it and use it.
Stare at yourself naked in the mirror for at least a minute every day and tell yourself just how beautiful you are - and mean it from your Soul (because your soul wouldn't lie to you). Give thanks that you can walk, run, jump, skip and dance! There are people in this world who can't do those things. There are people in this world that would be so envious of your body fat because where they live, everybody's skinny and fat is a symbol of abundance.
I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to watching Jessica Simpson's new show about Beauty and I'm sure I will revisit this topic again soon.

Holy Goji!
It is said in the Himalayas that if one begins the day with eating a small handful of Goji berries, one is sure to end the day in a good mood. This sentiment is quite true for me! Notice the vibrancy in the kirlian photo (left) of Goji.
Goji berries are the most clinically-researched / ‘proven’ of all the super-foods. They are the only known food to support human growth hormone production and function. Gojis are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-cancer. Search for yourself and you’ll be highly impressed at the science behind the goji berry.
Li Chun Yun, who popularized ginseng and TCM in the West, lived to be 252 years old (outliving ten wives), and his daily dietary staple was Goji berries.

Time to address this tagline: Nurturing the boundless creativity of the Mother!
Mother. Earth. Nature. Mommy. Maker. How do you nurture nature? Nurture her creativity. Make it easier for her to be herself. It is her nature to create. We wouldn’t be here if Nature was not in perfect balance, with plants creating perfectly breathable air, with land and water growing perfectly sustainable food. We come from an endlessly creative Source, in the most grounded sense. But do we really allow and trust Nature to assist us in creating everything we could ever dream of for our lives?
The power behind Natural, Wholistic Living is not just that you get to have a higher quality of life and choose your own departure, but that you actually get to choose your own adventure, too. You have within you, activated or not yet, the ability to co-create exactly the life you would want for yourself “if you had a choice”. Yet, you tell yourself you can’t, then you can’t. When we begin thinking openly about what might be possible, we don’t make it happen ‘out there’ (we don’t need to, it is out there already in the field of infinite possibility), but we dissolve the blocks of illusion separating us from what we want, within our minds, making it easier and easier to achieve our desire.
Do you even know what you want? You had better, if you want to ever have a hope in getting it! Blessings to you on your journey!

Revolutionary Healing Benefits of Goji
Goji berries can sustain an individual nutritionally for days or weeks by themselves and contain:
carotenoids – including beta-carotene, zeaxanthin and lutein, goji berries are nature’s richest source of colour-rich, antioxidant pigments known as carotenoids.
antioxidants – vitamins C & E, many minerals including germanium and especially their carotenoid colouring make goji berries the third most potent antioxidant food there is (behind cacao and acai).
protein – goji berries contain all essential amino acids and are an excellent source for complete protein.
polysaccharides – goji berries are a very rare food source of the long-chain sugars that make medicinal mushrooms medicinal and which are essential to health.
minerals – goji berries are a rare food source of the proven anti-cancer mineral germanium and contain many other minerals including zinc, copper, calcium, selenium and very high amounts of iron.
hgh secretagogue(s) - gojis contain one or more substances, likely sesquiterpenoids, which distinguishes gojis as the only food capable of stimulating human growth hormone, making them the food of choice for anti-aging.
Mother's Primal Protection
You should be, but you don’t have to be radically holistic to receive the most primal protection Mother Earth provides. I am talking about the most original and potentiating determinant of whether or not life exists on this Planet. I am talking about bacteria. Friendly Bacteria. Probiotics.
“It is about time we take a closer look at the Bacterial Kingdom, with capitals. For a Kingdom it is, biologically speaking, and the ancient lineage, diversity and evolutionary power of its inhabitants deserve royal treatment rather than disgust.” This is a favourite quote of mine by a molecular biologist, Trudy Wassenaar, PhD, which could not have put better how I have felt about friendly bacteria for over a decade. In my twenties, I suffered from all kinds of infestations, called infections, and ’they treated my body as a mechanical device, with a fix–it pill to make me go away and come back to pay their bills next month. This is a completely accurate metaphor in this case! I truly believe my path was destined.
In 1997 I was in a Shopper’s Drug Mart in Calgary, attempting to fill yet another prescription for Diflucan, a drug used to control Candida Albicans. An angelic pharmacist told me my liver was in danger due to six runs of the drug that year, and she led me to the nutritional supplements aisle, where she handed me my very first bottle of friendly bacteria. It was an immune support product, so right then and there I put two and two together. I also took a homeopathic candida remedy at her suggestion, and I was, at that point, well on my way to health empowerment and total liberation! Longevity in my hands!
Why was this moment so impactful? Because, where there is Candida, there are also other nasty critters setting up a sabotage mission in the body of every human who does not have balanced inner ecology. This means we need clean digestion, with a proper colonization of friendly bacteria in the gut to handle anything that comes our way. We must have this primal defense working within us! Stomach acid is not enough, and everybody is on antacids anyway! This has got to change if we are ever going to feel good!
Welcome the love of bacteria into your life. Do not fear that which you can not see. I am a Spiritual Nutritionist, a Minister of Health, if you will, and I am telling you that if you consume and commune with your kingdom, consuming mass quantities of friendly bugs, you will only be blessed.
You won’t have to fear the acronymic-fad- designer-pandemic-viruses. You’re safe.
Namaste & Blessings.
